What We do

We help raise funds for local nonprofits so they can focus on the one important task of serving the need. Broken down we have three steps in our process

1. We build relationships with business and individuals helping them run their internal campaign to raise funds. By working with United Way, they know that we partner with actual nonprofits that work right here in our town.
2. Once the funds are raised through annual campaign we have local volunteers evaluate each nonprofit that applies for United Way funding.
3. When the nonprofit is approved for funding they become a partner agency. They know they have certain amount of reliable, consistent funding for that year.

All these steps are taken to make sure what you donate to United Way, which in turn is allocated to our partner agencies (approved nonprofits), achieves the main goal of helping our community.
These are local nonprofits that work here in Griffin-Spalding County and receive funding from Griffin-Spalding County United Way for 2020. These Partner Agencies work hard to provide education, financial stability, and health to our community.
